The POOL paintings were made at the beginning of my stay at The Corsicana Artist and Writers residency. In the heat of the late summer, I collected and deconstructed inflatable pools, down to their seams and bottoms, before tacking them to walls like giant blueprints. Surface area cut outs were arranged as impromptu maze-drawings on my studio floor.
